Plans for a garden room hair salon have been amended after Fife Council initially did not accept the proposal.
Plans for the development, located on Peasehill Road, Rosyth, were first submitted in early November.
However, the council raised concerns over the lack of detail regarding the salon's operations.
Questions arose over the proposed opening hours, the number of clients the salon could handle at once, and the adequacy of parking provisions.
The council worried that the available parking might not be sufficient, especially if multiple clients or hairdressing assistants not based at the property visited the salon.
In response, the applicant, Mrs Hannah Moyes, amended the plans to address these concerns.
The updated proposal now states that the salon will only operate from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
The proposal also clarifies that there will be no assistants, and the salon will accommodate a maximum of two clients at a time.
For parking, the revised plan suggests using nearby communal spaces and the house's driveway if required.
It remains to be seen whether these changes will be enough for Fife Council to approve the plan.
The application is now under consideration, and a decision is expected in due course.
