FIRE crews are in attendance at a blaze in Dunfermline this evening.
Several fire appliances are on the scene along with other emergency services.
Firefighters using the aerial ladder platform were seen tackling a fire at what looks like the 9th floor of one of the blocks.
Broomhead Drive has been closed by police - this means surrounding roads are extremely busy this evening.
Emergency services have been seen leaving Broomhead Drive but a number of police vans and special response ambulances remain at the scene.
It's understood affected residents have been taken across the road to the Matthew Fyfe care home.
Neighbours who were seen leaving the flats have told the Press that they believe that the fire was contained to one flat and that the tenant is still being checked out by ambulance crews.
There's still a lot of blue light activity with police and fire crews still at the scene.
