Sam Fender returned to TRNSMT to deliver a spectacular set fresh from his Glastonbury debut - and even had the crowd singing f**k the Tories.
The star warmed up the stage last year before headliners The Courteeners.
And he returned to carry out the same tradition for Paisley superstar Paolo Nutini.
Surely it’s time for the Geordie rocker to take that headlining spot?
Running on stage flying a saltire, he certainly proved his TRNSMT worth kicking things off with Will We Talk before launching into Getting Started.
He said: “Alright Glasgow, how we doing?”
And despite the drizzly conditions, the crowd was doing fine lapping every second of Fender’s Springteen-esque set.
He encourage the audience to participate in a responsible mosh pit while performing even stopping at one point to help fans who needed medical assistance.
And things turned a little political when he hummed a tune to which the crowd replied, 'f**k the tories'.
Nodding in appreciation he beamed: “What a tune”
Get You Down, Spit of You and Saturday were instant crowd-pleasers.
While Seventeen Going Under and Hypersonic Missles rounded off his fourth TRNSMT performance.
See you next year Sam.
