SCOTTISH tennis legend Andy Murray's hotel has topped a list of the best-rated celebrity-owned establishments in the UK.
The Wimbledon champion and owner of the Cromlix Hotel near his hometown of Dunblane, ranked first in a list of the top eight celebrity venues.
Andy Murray, who recently beat Dmitry Popko in the Davis Cup, bought the 15-bedroom luxury hotel in 2013 for £1.8 million and opened it to guests in 2014.
The research, which was undertaken by the coffee retailer, Coffee Friend, took into consideration ratings and reviews from visitors on Tripadvisor to work out an overall "excellence" percentage.
The tennis player’s hotel, situated on 34 acres of secluded woodlands and gardens, had an overall rating of 4.5 out of 5 and an excellence rating of 79%.
The Cromlix hotel in Kinbuck boasts that it has “10 bedrooms and five suites, a chapel, reception hall, two drawing rooms, conservatory, dining room, library and meeting rooms.”
Other celebrities like singer-songwriter James Blunt and legendary racing driver Lewis Hamilton are also featured on the list.

2 – Guy Ritchie, Lore of the Land
In second place, filmmaker, Guy Ritchie’s Lore of the Land pub in Fitzrovia, London received an excellence rating of 78% and had 4.5 stars on Tripadvisor.
3 – James Blunt, The Fox and Pheasant
James Blunt’s country pub, The Fox and Pheasant in London had 4.5 stars on the travel site and received a rating of 70%.
4 – Gareth Bale, Elevens Bar and Grill
Welsh professional footballer, Gareth Bale, ranked fourth with his Elevens Bar and Grill in Cardiff with a rating of 4.5 and 64%.
5 - Gavin Henson, The Fox
Welsh Rugby Union player, Gavin Henson’s, The Fox in Wales received a rating of 4.5 and 63%.
6 – Lewis Hamilton, Neat Burger
British F1 driver, Lewis Hamilton’s Neat Burger in London scored 4.5 out of 5 and has a percentage of 61%, placing it sixth on the list.
7 – Jodie Kidd, The Half Moon
The Half Moon, which is owned by English fashion model, racing driver and TV personality, Jodie Kidd, ranked seventh with a score of 4 and 59%.
8 – Chris Evans, Mulberry Inn
BBC Radio 2, Chris Evans beat the likes of David Beckham and Ed Sheeran to come eighth with The Mulberry Inn on a rating of 4 and 54%.
