SNP politicians have been highly critical of the UK Government's handling of the Ukrainian refugee crisis but not one has offered to house a refugee family.
However, I confidently expect that First Minister Nicola Sturgeon will surprise her critics and quickly step forward and in front of the world press state that her 45 MPs, 64 MSPs and 400 SNP local councillors will take refugee families into their own homes.
That is 509 refugee families. It will be remembered that in 2015 she said she would be "absolutely happy" to open Bute House to a Syrian refugee family.
Strange that there have been no sightings or progress reports.
