INVERKEITHING HILLFIELD SWIFTS were knocked out of the East of Scotland League Cup after a narrow loss at Dunbar United on Tuesday evening.
Jason McCrindle's team made the trip to East Lothian for the second time in just over four weeks, after a 4-0 loss in the Premier Division last month, for a tie that was rearranged from March 2 due to a postponement.
Swifts, who lost out to league leaders Broxburn Athletic on Saturday, having been two goals up with 20 minutes to go, fell behind to Taylor Hendry's 25th minute effort, which Dunbar held on to to book a second round tie with Edinburgh United.
