LEWIS MOORE has been hailed as a player "who fans want to come and see" by his Kelty Hearts boss as he hopes to keep him fit for the remainder of the campaign.
The 25-year-old former Heart of Midlothian and Queen's Park star returned to Michael Tidser's side for a defeat at Alloa Athletic earlier this month, having spent just over two months on the sidelines.
Having played just eight games last term, he has made 24 appearances so far in maroon, the most he has played since 2018/19, when he was on loan at Forfar Athletic.
Moore was in excellent form for Kelty during their win at home to Alloa last midweek, after which player / manager Tidser sang his praises, and explained how crucial a part he can play as the New Central Park side aim to stay clear of second bottom in League One and the relegation play-off place.
"I played with Moorey when he was a young boy on loan at Falkirk," Tidser said.
"He came from Hearts and I saw he had real quality. When I got the job in the summer he was one of the first people I spoke to about getting him on board.
"He'd struggled a lot at Queen's Park with injuries, and I think he missed 600 days, or so he tells me. I just wanted to give him that love for football back again. You can see he's got bags of ability. He's got so much ability and so much quality, the way he gets by people and drives at people.
"That's who fans want to come and see, your Lewis Moore's, people getting at people and being positive.
"I'm just really pleased to have him back. We just need to wrap him in cotton wool now, look after him, and hopefully for however many games are left, he'll keep driving standards in the group."
