INVERKEITHING HILLFIELD SWIFTS have announced that Jason McCrindle has signed a new two-year contract extension with the club.
The former Luncarty boss took charge of their senior side in November, following the departure of Jason Dair.
He guided Swifts to wins in his opening two games in charge in the East of Scotland Premier Division, and has led them to their first-ever cup final.
They will play in the East of Scotland Qualifying Cup showpiece, on April 28, against Dunbar United after memorable wins at Lowland League Gala Fairydean Rovers, and Broxburn Athletic, who are nine points clear at the top of Swifts' division, in the quarter-finals and semi-finals respectively.
McCrindle, whose first team coach, Greg Allwood, has also penned a new deal, said: "It was pretty straightforward.
"The club have got a model that they want to work to, and they've got objectives in the way they want to do things, and it ties in with the way I want to try and do things as well.
"They've backed me. We've just tried to change a few things, and we just agreed that the best way to continue was to continue working together, and it was quite an easy conversation."
Swifts are due to travel to Sauchie on league business this Saturday.
