WEST FIFE'S East of Scotland League sides will be aiming to return to action this weekend after the recent round of fixtures was decimated by the weather.
Crossgates Primrose, Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts and Oakley United all saw their scheduled matches postponed on Saturday as heavy rain and strong winds large parts of the country.
Humbug Park was due to host Crossgates' Premier Division encounter with Haddington Athletic, but the game was called off the evening before.
Primrose, currently second bottom of the table and facing a battle to avoid the drop, were also scheduled to be at home on Tuesday evening, to Dundonald Bluebell, but that fixture was also postponed.
East of Scotland Qualifying Cup finalists Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts saw their Premier Division tie at Sauchie Juniors called off on Saturday morning, which has been rescheduled for Tuesday evening (April 16) at 7.30pm.
Oakley United's First Division match with Whitburn was also postponed, as only five matches across all four East of Scotland League divisions survived, and that game will now also take place on Tuesday night at Blairwood Park, with kick off at 6.45pm.
Saturday's card will see Inverkeithing Hillfield Swifts - one place and two points above the relegation places - host Crossgates in a crucial derby at Dalgety Bay, with kick off at 2pm, and Oakley travel to Heriot-Watt University for a 3pm First Division kick off.
