SWIFTS star Aaron Wood says there's belief in the camp that they can return home with the East of Scotland Qualifying Cup and do those behind the scenes proud.
The 25-year-old, who has found the net nine times for the team this season, joked that he's taken the day after Sunday's final off work "just in case" they have cause for major celebration after the game with Dunbar United.
Like many of the players who will be involved in the game, Wood is set to be cheered on by family and friends, with his parents and girlfriend all set to be amongst the crowd at Newtongrange Star's New Victoria Park.
And he wants to give them, and those who dedicate their time into operating the club, a performance that, win or lose, they can be appreciative of.
"It's a big game for the club, for the committee as well, because folk put a lot of time into it," he said.
"It's good for them as well as us, we've just got to try and do them proud. Even if we don't win, just make sure when we go out there, everybody's trying their best.
"We're confident and looking forward to it.
"The lead up to it has been quite good, in that cup especially, as we've put out Gala and we put out Broxburn.
"We've not just been sitting in and breaking on the counter, we've played some decent football against quite a few of the big teams, so it's been good for us.
"There's a good buzz going about the place."
Sunday's final will be the fourth time the Swifts and Dunbar have met in all competitions this season.
There has been a win apiece in the East of Scotland League, Premier Division, whilst the East Lothian side edged out the West Fifers in their most recent clash, in the League Cup, last month.
Wood, who at 25 reckons he's "the third or fourth oldest" in the Swifts squad, added: "We don't need to concentrate too much on them.
"We've played them three times already. We know what they're about so we just need to play our own game and try and get a win.
"We beat them the first time and then there was one game where we got probably turned over a wee bit, and then we got beat 1-0 away on a Tuesday night. It was quite an even game there, so there's nothing to be scared of."
