DUNFERMLINE ATHLETIC Ladies will round off their SWFL (Scottish Women's Football League) East campaign with a Fife derby this weekend.
And they have been urged to "bring the standards back up" when they travel to face McDermid Ladies on Sunday after losing out in their final home match.
Musselburgh Windsor inflicted a 2-1 defeat at Pitreavie and, after having a free week, they now sit fifth in the table.
A defeat for Edinburgh South to Musselburgh tonight (Thursday) would leave Charles Dignan's team with the chance of finishing fourth, but a win over their ninth-placed opponents would see them guarantee fifth at a minimum.
Dunfermline were 4-1 winners when the sides met last month and, speaking after the defeat to Windsor, assistant manager, Gregg McSwiggan, commented: "It's important not to dwell on this result and to note how well we've done over the last few weeks, and since Charles and I have come in.
"They've been fantastic. It's just a reminder that we need to maintain the standards all the time but, as I've said to them, you learn more in defeat than in victory, so we aim to put that right (against McDermid) and go again."
Kick off at Windmill Community Campus, in Kirkcaldy, is scheduled for 3pm.
Meanwhile, the Pars ladies will host their end of season awards ceremony on June 6 at KDM Group East End Park.
The evening, which begins at 7pm, is free for players and team sponsors, with tickets for guests costing £6.
