IT remains an iconic image.
Arms aloft, with team-mates racing to join as thousands of Pars fans celebrate in the background, Andrius Skerla celebrated a goal that has become synonymous with his time at the club.
His looping header, 20 years ago today, gave Dunfermline the lead at Hampden in the Scottish Cup final.
The team, led by manager, Jimmy Calderwood, found themselves in front at half-time against Celtic, and who could forget the raucous celebrations and sing song throughout the interval amongst the black and white faithful?
Dreams of lifting the trophy for a third time, and the first since 1968, which was their previous appearance in the final, were well and truly alive.
However, unfortunately for Athletic, Henrik Larsson - playing his last game for the Hoops - scored twice, before Stilian Petrov added a third to take the cup to Celtic Park and break Pars hearts.
Despite the result, the appearance of their favourites in the showpiece at the national stadium for the first time in 36 years was savoured by Athletic supporters, far and wide.
We've taken a dip into our archives and found some photos of that day. See if you can spot yourself!
