KELTY Hearts have been busy with three new signings and a contract extension for a key defender.

Goalkeeper Ryan Adamson and attacking midfielder Luke McCarvel have joined from Lowland League side Cumbernauld Colts while defender Callum Flatman is on the way from the Hearts B team, who also play in the Lowland League.

To round off a good week, influential defender Tam O'Ware has extended his stay at New Central Park with a new deal for the 2024-25 campaign.

Adamson, 29, is from West Fife and was a first team regular for the Colts, making 32 appearances and keeping nine clean sheets last season.

McCarvel, 19, featured on 35 occasions for the Broadwood-based club and found the net three times.

Flatman, 20, previously captained the Hearts under-18s before stepping up the capital side's B team.

The defender spent the second half of last season on loan at Edinburgh City, featuring in 14 matches and scoring once in a 2-2 draw with Falkirk.

All three will join Kelty when their current contracts expire.

O'Ware, 31, the former Morton and Partick Thistle centre back, was brought to New Central Park by Kevin Thomson in 2021.

It was announced in December last year that he was leaving for a coaching job at Queen's Park but it didn't turn out as he'd hoped and old pal and Hearts player-boss Michael Tidser persuaded him to return in March.

O'Ware, who has played 77 games for Kelty, has now signed a new deal for the League One campaign to come.

Off the pitch, the club have announced that Industrial Group will join as new kit sponsors and will have their name on the front of the away kits for the 2024-25 season.

A spokesperson for the company said: "We are proud to support Kelty Hearts and look forward to a successful season together.

"Seeing our logo on the players' shirts will be a moment of great pride for our business."

Kelty are also urging fans to take advantage of a price freeze on their early bird season ticket prices - which essentially offers supporters the chance to see 18 league games for the price of 14.

The early bird prices are: adult season ticket - £225; concession - £155; young adult £85; and junior - £40.
