PARS fans were given the chance to meet their heroes and watch them be put through their paces during a special event yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon.

The gates at KDM Group East End Park were thrown open to season card holders to allow them a unique insight into preparation work carried out by manager, James McPake, his coaching team and the players on non-match days.

The open training session also gave some lucky young supporters the chance to win captain's armbands, signed by club skipper, Kyle Benedictus, in some football challenges, whilst Athletic's new third kit was also revealed.
