INVERKEITHING HILLFIELD SWIFTS have announced that they have appointed a new manager of their senior team.
Former West Calder United head coach, Gary Sibbald, has been brought in to replace Jason McCrindle, who parted company with the club last week.
Following an East of Scotland League, First Division, victory at Kinnoull last Wednesday, Swifts surprisingly announced that they and McCrindle, who led them to their first trophy, the East of Scotland Qualifying Cup, in April, had "agreed to part company".
Speaking to Press Sport on Wednesday evening this week, chairman, Craig Reid, said that the club had hoped to announce the appointment of a new manager on Thursday - and, last night, they unveiled Sibbald.

"His past successes include leading West Calderto their highest-ever points tally as the youngest manager in junior football in Scotland and serving as the head coach for Syngenta Juveniles’ first team.

"Our club firmly believes that Gary is a fantastic appointment. His philosophy and approach closely align with our vision for success, making him the perfect fit to bring out the best in our talented squad.
"With his leadership, we are confident that our team will reach new heights and achieve our goals.
