ATHLETIC are quids in to the tune of around £5,000 thanks to the fundraising efforts of their Former Players Association.
The generous donation was handed over to the club following the organisation's recently-held annual AGM, and will be used to purchase various new items for the season, such as gym equipment, various training clothing for the playing squad, and a heat printing machine for kits.
Pars chairman and CEO, David Cook, said: "What a tremendous effort by the Former Players Association.
"Not only have many of the members represented the club with distinction, but they continue to make a fantastic financial contribution to the club via their fundraising efforts.
"This is a great example of the best attributes of the club - players and supporters collaborating to add value to the club we all love."
