FRIDAY night football will return to KDM Group East End Park during the festive season after another Athletic game was chosen for broadcast.
James McPake's side will host fierce rivals Falkirk between Christmas and New Year, and the game will now be televised live on the BBC Scotland channel.
The two sides had been due to go head-to-head on Saturday December 28, but the fixture has now been brought forward to Friday December 27, with kick off at 7.45pm, to be beamed live to the nation.

It will be the second home fixture that the Pars have had moved this season for television, following on from last Friday evening's Fife derby with Raith Rovers, which they won 2-0.
The visit of the Bairns, two days before Christmas, will be the third clash between the sides during the campaign.
Last month, in their first home Championship game of the season, Dunfermline fell to a 2-0 loss to their foes from across the Kincardine Bridge, and they will meet for a second time at the Falkirk Stadium on Saturday October 26.
Over the festive period, Dunfermline go to Greenock Morton on Saturday December 21, and then travel to Partick Thistle, eight days after the clash with the Bairns, in their first game of 2025.
The SPFL will announce further live broadcasts for November and December in the Championship in due course.
