Alloa 92-21 Rosyth Sharks, Caledonia Midlands Bowl
Rosyth Sharks were knocked out of the Caledonia Midlands Bowl competition by an impressive Alloa Rugby Club side on Saturday.
Mark Love's side, who play in Caledonia Midlands Region League, Division Three, made the short trip to face their opponents, who sit second in the division above, but returned home defeated.
With a small squad available, it was always likely to be a tough assignment for the Sharks, and three tries inside 15 minutes saw them trail by 21 points.
By the interval, the hosts had added a further 47 to their tally, and they went to score a further 24, but Rosyth got themselves on the scoreboard and added 21 points of their own.
Sharks have a week out of action before returning to play Waid Academy in a league fixture on November 23.
