Kelty Hearts hitman Scott Williamson believes he can hit the net even more if he can become more clinical with the chances that fall his way.

But the on-loan Queen's Park forward has been happy with his start to life in a maroon shirt, in which he has helped them to sit proudly at the top of League One.

The 24-year-old moved to New Central Park on a deal until the end of the season, having signed for the Spiders in February 2022 on a three-and-a-half year deal from Cambuslang Rangers, and has scored eight goals in 18 appearances.

Williamson has netted in each of Kelty's last two matches, wins over Dumbarton and Annan Athletic, and, speaking to Press Sport following the former, he said: "I'm happy with that but at the same time, I feel like I could have a lot more.

"I've missed a lot of chances as well, so I think if I get more clinical, I can score a lot more goals.

"I would say if you're getting in the positions to score, you'll end up putting them away, so hopefully I can just kick on from there and hopefully get more goals.

"I love it here. Obviously, t's a very good changing room, I love the gaffer and that as well. It's a good place to be and I enjoy it, so it's very good.

"Everybody in the changing room, they all get along. Everyone's friends and it's very enjoyable as well. Training's good, it's a good place to be, and there's no complaints about it."
