Dapo Mebude is eager to create "new memories" after scoring his first goal in more than three years on Saturday.
The 23-year-old opened his account for Dunfermline by giving them the lead in their Scottish Cup third round tie at Edinburgh City, a match that they went on to win 2-1.
It was the former Scotland under-21 international's 10th appearance since signing for the club in October and was the first time he had found the net since scoring for AFC Wimbledon, whilst on loan from Watford, in a match at Shrewsbury Town in September 2021.
Since then, Mebude has had a spell in Belgium, with KV Oostende, during which he suffered life-threatening injuries in a car crash earlier this year.
"The last couple of seasons haven't went how it's been planned for me, but it's just about getting back on track," he said.
"It was nice to get a goal and have a hand in the second as well. I'm just enjoying playing again.
"It's massive to get a goal. Now ,hopefully the goals just start rolling in, but, on a personal note, it's nice for me."

Given the length of time that had passed since he last found his name on the scoresheet, Mebude was asked if it was something that plays on his mind, to which he replied: "More so maybe off the pitch.
"But when I'm playing, I think I've been doing quite well. I've had a few chances. I've been getting closer and closer, so I knew it would come.

"It's just about being patient and keep trying to help out the team in other ways as well. If I'm not scoring, I just need to try and play well.
"I think I'm getting there every week. That's my second 90 [minutes] in two weeks now so, yes, I'm just progressing every week and just seeing where it takes me."
The game in the capital was only the second time that Mebude has featured in the Scottish Cup, with the other coming whilst on loan to Queen of the South from Rangers in 2021.
He has, however, won the Scottish Youth Cup, scoring for the Ibrox side in a 3-2 win over Celtic at Hampden in 2019.
"We won 3-2 and I scored the second goal," Mebude added.
"It was an important goal, but it was just nice to get the win at the end of the day.
"It was a good memory, but now it's just about creating new memories and taking everything in my stride right now."
